What if Friday evenings became your weekly permission slip to play, experiment, and create without pressure?Welcome to Creativity Playground! Four weeks of gentle creative exploration that unfolds across different materials and ways of making. Each session builds on the last... not in skill, but in trust: trust in your hands, your instincts, and the creative process.
Whether you're new to creative play or you've been wanting to go deeper after our February workshop, this series might be for you: regular time and space to reconnect with the playful, curious part of yourself. No art background needed, just willingness to show up, play, and see what happens.
Why four weeks?
Momentum... You'll notice your inner critic quieten and your creative confidence expand.
Deeper exploration... Each material invites different discoveries. The rhythm of returning weekly creates space for genuine creative play, not just a one-off experience.
A practice, not a product... This isn't about making four finished pieces, it's about cultivating a creative habit that you can carry on beyond this series.
Connection... You'll share the journey with the same small group, creating a supportive space where everyone's exploring and playing together.
What you'll explore:
Each evening focuses on a different material, approached with curiosity and playfulness:
Week 1 (May 1): Collage Exploration. Cut, tear, arrange, rearrange; discover composition through intuition.
Week 2 (May 8): Watercolour Flow. Let go of control and embrace unpredictability.
Week 3 (May 15): Mark-/Printmaking. Discover what emerges through repetition and surprise.
Week 4 (May 22): Play with Clay. Get your hands messy, work slow, see what wants to be made out of air-dry clay.
You'll take home:
Creative pieces from each session (yours to keep, display, gift, or simply let be).
Growing confidence in your ability to create without judgement.
Ideas and prompts to continue your practice beyond the four weeks.
A feeling of calm, a mental reset, and creative energy.
Practical details:
Dates: Fridays, May 1, 8, 15 & 22
Time: 7-9pm each evening
Price: $290 for the full 4-week series (includes all materials)
Group size: 10 people max.
What to bring: Clothes you don't mind getting messy, curiosity, and a willingness to play.
