Creative Retreat Day: Spring's New Awakenings

The 21st day of March sees the spring equinox when the sun is at its midway mark between mid-winter and mid-summer. At last, we see the many signs of the earth coming out of the cold and darkness of winter and find ourselves entering a warmer and brighter world.

In the British Celtic tradition, this day is something to make a gift of. It is often a day people dedicate to the beginning of a new phase of life, or a new plan or project, and may even begin the day by greeting the spring sunrise.

This creative retreat day is an opportunity for you to capture this new season; to reflect on the spirituality of spring and its new awakenings in your life. During the day we will have some simple activities to help us reflect and focus, including a craft activity where we will make beaded suncatchers.
