Creating the Conditions for Good Design: Affordable Housing Workshop
About this Event
Many of the decisions that have the greatest influence on the quality of affordable housing are made before a design team is appointed. This half-day workshop explores how clients can create the conditions for good design during the early stages of project development.
Using case studies, a guided site visit and workshop activities centred on a live development site in Cardiff, participants will explore practical approaches to shaping successful projects from the outset.
Whether you commission, manage or support affordable housing projects, the workshop will provide practical tools and ideas to help you make informed early decisions and create the conditions for successful design outcomes.
