Important Notice Before Introducing Our Classes!

Please note that there has been a recent change in the venue where our classes are held. Kindly read the following information carefully before booking!

For our craft classes, we hire a separate studio space once a booking is confirmed. Please note that there is an additional studio booking fee of £54 for a 2-hour session. The studio will be reserved once payment has been received.

We arrange a dedicated studio space to ensure the session runs smoothly and comfortably. If you prefer not to pay the studio booking fee, home sessions are also available. I can visit your home and conduct the class there without any additional studio hire cost. Please feel free to choose the option that works best for you!

Experience the beauty of Korean craftsmanship by making your very own goods decorated with shimmering mother-of-pearl (najeon).Choose from keyrings, hand mirrors, or phone grips and complete your own unique piece in this hands-on workshop.

• Chopstick Stand/Chopstick or Spoon (Wooden)

• Wood Spoon/Chopstick Set with Stand
• Tea Coaster (12x12)

🎨 All materials are provided. Just pick your item and decorate it with beautiful pieces of mother-of-pearl to make it truly yours. No experience needed—perfect for beginners and craft lovers alike!

🚨 After making your reservation, you must email your contact number (reachable on the day) to . Alternatively, you may send a DM to the umma.london Instagram account. However, if you do not provide a reachable contact number at least 24 hours before the session, your booking may be cancelled on the basis that you have not reviewed the session guidelines.

Additional materials & Allergic Notice

• The finishing coat will need around one full day to dry. Please make sure to bring a protective container and bag (such as a Lock&Lock or any small plastic box) so that you can safely take your accessory home. I will tape your piece to the bottom of the container so it stays secure and doesn’t move while it dries.

• For finishing, we will be using a natural enamel substitute for lacquer. If you have any sensitivities or allergies to enamel, I will bring gloves for you to wear during the session.
• Please note that the finishing material may remain slightly sticky and could transfer onto clothing. If this is a concern, we kindly recommend bringing your own apron.

If you do not have a container or apron, please let us know in advance and we can bring a spare for you. However, if we are not informed beforehand, please understand that it may be difficult to provide one or to take your items home safely after the class.
