Felt Animal WorkshopIn this gentle, hands-on workshop, participants will create a small felt animal while learning the basics of needle felting.
The session introduces how wool is shaped using specialist felting needles, gradually building form through layering, shaping, and adding simple details.
Techniques covered include forming a core shape, adding features and texture, and refining details to give each animal its own character.
The workshop is designed to be calm, creative, and supportive, suitable for complete beginners.
Participants will leave with their own handmade felt animal.
All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
Workshops are just £15 per 2-hour session.

Young people 14+ are welcome to attend with a supervising adult.
The Halfway, Tal-y-coed will be open from 12 noon all day serving food & drinks while the workshop is on.
