About this Event
A three-hour workshop diving into the fundamentals of writing and performing short plays in the style of the San Francisco Neo-Futurists!
The FREE Crash Course in Neo-Futurism is a 3-hour workshop introducing and allowing participants to practice creating and performing their own performances, based on the aesthetic principles of Neo-Futurism. This workshop is open to all and will be taught by SF Neo-Futurists ensemble members Aster Light and Danni Blackman.
What To Expect
- easy movement warm-ups
- an overview of the Neo-Futurist aesthetic
- creative writing prompts
- opportunities to collaborate with other participants
You will walk away from the workshop with the start of, or another addition to, your body of performance and theatrical work.
All levels of experience are welcome!
