YL-37 a UH-34D Vietnam-Era helicopter will be flying in to the Council Bluffs Municipal Airport around noon to reunite the aircraft with an Ugly Angel who spent time in Vietnam.Come watch her land and take pictures and videos! We just ask that you respectfully allow the first 30 minutes for this veteran and his family to have a private tour of the aircraft before we open the static display to the public. We plan to depart around 2:30pm.
There is handicap/short term parking. The larger parking lot is a good place for the general public to park.
This event is free to the public.
Updates on this event page will be posted the morning of as the aircraft departs for Council Bluffs.
