We are back for another scratch evening.
If you came last time, you now know the drill! If you didn’t, then please be sure to share what traditions/dances you know ahead of time. That way, I have a good idea of what dances we can line up. The evening will run in turns and is very fluid. We finished off with jigs, which I think we will do again, so prepare your finest jig!
If you are a musician who didn’t attend last time, all are welcome. The first half of the evening will be playing Cotswold tunes for the dancers, any musician is welcome to join in if you know the tune. We will then go on to have a session at Oliver’s Bar so please come along to that aswell.
Venue
Dancing will start from approximately 7:30–9ish outside the front of Gloucester Brewery – Warehouse 4. Once we have finished dancing, we will then be changing venue and heading over the bridge to another Gloucester Brewery site, Oliver’s Bar. They are more than happy for us to pile in for an all-out musician session.
Parking
The closest pay and display carpark is at Gloucestershire College on Llanthony Road, it’s then a 2 minute walk to Warehouse 4.
