Beginning the day will be a special keynote lecture with leading historians of the American Revolution Drs. Alan Taylor and Karin Wulf, who will be in conversation about America’s 250th and their contributions to the VMHC exhibition, "Give Me Liberty: Virginia & The Forging of a Nation" and its companion publication.
Guests will then have the opportunity to hear from 16 panels comprising dozens of experts from across the Commonwealth during a full day of engaging presentations that highlight groundbreaking research into Virginia history around the theme of "Revolutions." More details on the panels’ topics will be released this summer.
In addition to compelling panel discussions, guests will have access to tailored museum experiences that highlight revolutions in Virginia and an exhibitor hall featuring historical organizations from across the state. Ending the day will be a reception for guests and speakers to mingle and reflect on the day’s learning.
Tickets to the event include museum admission, the keynote lecture, all panel discussions, and an evening reception.
