Miles for Mamas RVA: A Community Walk for Perinatal Mental Health Awareness

Join us for a morning of healing, hope, and community.

Healing Circle Counseling invites you to Miles for Mamas RVA, a community walk dedicated to raising awareness for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) and supporting the parents and caregivers who experience them.

Whether you’re a survivor, a supporter, a provider, or someone who simply cares — this event is for you. We’ll gather together in compassion, walk in honor of the 1 in 5 parents impacted by PMADs, and create space to reflect, connect, and support one another.

This is more than a walk, it’s a step toward breaking stigma, building community, and showing every parent that they are not alone.

Healing Circle Counseling is an award-winning practice that offers high-quality, heart-centered Medic*tion management and outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups in Henrico and Midlothian, VA. Our practice utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches to help our clients discover their true selves. Each of our providers has years of experience practicing with diverse populations, and each has expertise in a variety of therapeutic modalities. We use traditional and non-traditional healing methods and look at each client holistically.

Healing Circle Counseling was born from personal experience. Our founder, Linda Zaffram, created this practice after walking through miscarriage, birth trauma, and postpartum anxiety and depression without the support she needed. Her healing journey lit a path forward: to build a safe, compassionate space where no parent has to feel alone.

Today, our practice is still devoted to walking alongside individuals through pregnancy, loss, birth, postpartum, and beyond. Miles for Mamas RVA is a reflection of that mission to bring our community together to honor every parent’s journey and raise awareness for perinatal mental health.
