About this Event

You may have the qualifications, experience and ideas to contribute at work. But how do you build the confidence to speak up, make your voice heard and influence others?

For this ConnectHer session, we're joined by Sabina Koparde, Head of Finance Risk at Westpac New Zealand, for an open conversation about confidence, leadership and professional growth.

Sabina is an experienced senior leader with a background in risk management, stakeholder engagement, change management and leading professional teams. She is passionate about supporting women in their leadership journeys and will share insights from her own career.

What we'll talk about
  • Finding the confidence to speak up and share your ideas
  • Building professional credibility and trust
  • Communicating with and influencing different stakeholders
  • Navigating workplace relationships and challenges
  • Developing confidence as you move into leadership roles
  • Lessons from Sabina's own leadership journey

This session is particularly relevant for migrant women who are building their careers, stepping into leadership or wanting to have a stronger voice in the workplace.

What to expect

40 minutes – Sabina's story, leadership insights & Q&A

Hear Sabina's experiences, learn from her leadership journey and bring your own questions.

20 minutes – Small-group networking

Meet other migrant women, share experiences and build meaningful professional connections.

ConnectHer sessions are intentionally small, with a maximum of 15 attendees, so everyone has an opportunity to participate and connect.

☕ Free to attend. Please purchase your own coffee or drink on arrival, as we are meeting in a working café.
