Your chance to learn Indonesian - Level 2!
About this Event
Bahasa Indonesia, the national language of Indonesia, is spoken by more than 250 million people in Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. It began as a trading language connecting communities throughout maritime Southeast Asia and is today known for being straightforward to learn for basic communication purposes, whether you’re planning a Bali getaway, a business trip to Jakarta or wanting to talk to friends and family.
The courses are designed to provide for progression in language skills, with each on-going level picking up from the point where the previous course ended. They each runs for eight weeks, with 1.5 hours evening classes held once a week and will be taught by an Indonesian native speaker with more than 20 years of teaching experience. Please enquire if you are uncertain which level is right for you.
Event details: Level 2 is suitable for students who have taken level 1 or who want to refresh their knowledge before proceeding to level 2. In this level you will enhance your Bahasa Indonesia skills by learning how to create more complex sentences. You will explore new topics relevant to everyday life.
Additionally, you will have more opportunities to practice speaking, reading, and writing. Your tutor will continue to provide you with Indonesian videos, songs, and movies, along with a field trip to make your learning experience enjoyable and engaging.
