Gow Langsford presents To touch a cloud while standing on the ground, an exhibition of new paintings and sculptures by André Hemer. Moving between digital image-making, painting and sculpture, Hemer explores the relationship between image and material, illusion and physical presence. Through layered surfaces, sculptural additions and the interplay of light, colour and texture, the works challenge our perceptions of depth and blur the boundaries between the virtual and the physical.
