Cong-Fusion Play Cambridge Jazz Festival

Cong-Fusion started from Ryan McCaffrey’s compositions he created and recorded while studying at Birmingham Conservatoire. He first publicly performed these works of music at La Raza in Cambridge in 2010. Over the years he’s added to the collection and formed Cong-Fusion, a collective of musicians he put together who recorded their debut album in 2021. They released ‘The World As We Know It’ in 2022 and went onto perform at Pizza Express Jazz Club in London, Norwich Jazz Club, St Neots Jazz Club and many festivals including London Jazz East Festival to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Rye International Jazz & Bues Festival and Cambridge Jazz Festival. They return this year with a new selection of instrumentals on the 17th November 2026 at The Portland Arms.
