Most exhibitions make you perform some expertise: you stand in a little room, stare at abstract shapes, read academic jargon and pretend you get it.
LOST & FOUND is an exhibition curated by IG @karinaxea which is the antidote to traditional gallery presentation.
This exhibition is for those who come to art not only to look, but to think, question, and be challenged.
I invite you to visit it because it provides answers to difficult existential questions which aren’t necessarily hidden in elite art circles. If you ask the right questions, you'll find answers sitting under our hands, in the ordinary lives we live.
That is why I brought together local female and non-binary artists from our own Prague streets and communities.
Every work in Lost & Found has been created specifically for this exhibition and this space. Nothing is here simply because it “looks commercial.” Each piece is an attempt to make the theme felt rather than explained
Expect raw photography, provocative installations, mixed-media collages, and intimate texts.
