Biliana Voutchkova is a thoroughly committed composer, performer and interpreter whose work combines regular performances of major works for solo violin and ensemble, new works by contemporary composers, often written for her, and improvisation.

Her research as a creative improviser embraces the widest possible range of sound/music/movement and expands the tonal and technical possibilities of her instrument, resulting in the development of a highly individual musical language.
