Community Social for Queer Kids & Their Grownups

Kids ages 12 and under are invited to a community social! Group activities provided for ages 8 and under, ages 9-12, and parents/caregivers.
About this Event

Join ASATTCI, Rainbow Families Sacramento, and Central Valley Pride for an uplifting and connective gathering at Elk Grove's indie bookstore! We'll provide experienced hosts for each group, along with activities and support.

Ages 8 & under: We'll offer a storytime, coloring, & activities in the play area.

Ages 9-12: Our leader will support preteen connection through intentionally selected games and activities in our side bar area, which offers some privacy. At our first meeting, this group gets to come up with an event name and offer design input for our event graphics going forward!

Parents/Caregivers: A fellow parent of a queer kid will guide discussion, peer support, and resource sharing.

CVP will provide drinks for all age groups and light snacks for the parents & caregivers.
