How can we build community connections and power among our neighbors? What does it mean to organize and build organization? How can we start to have difficult conversations across lines of division? Join us for a workshop on Organizing Conversations - a community organizing practice to build relationships, organization, and community power. We’ll discuss:
- What is organizing, and what are organizing conversations?
- How is an organizing conversation different than just talking?
- Why is this an essential tool and tactic for our present moment?
This is part 2 of a 2 part workshop series. The first workshop, on Projects of Survival, will be held on Wednesday, October 29th, at 7pm at the Rotterdam Community Center.
