Community Involvement in Neighbourhood Health
About this Event
As we move towards working in neighbourhoods, community involvement is more important than ever. This event is an opportunity to come together with Help & Care and NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight, as key partners in this work, to explore how community involvement will be embedded in the neighbourhood approach through engaging discussions, shared learning and networking.
Join us to:
- Be among the first to access the new and refreshed Public and Patient Involvement Toolkit, available at the event and designed to give you practical tools, guidance and inspiration for meaningful community involvement.
- Find out more about existing community involvement models and how to use these successfully.
- Visit our Resource Room to browse useful community involvement information, gather practical tools, proven models and ideas to support meaningful engagement in your work.
- Network and share good practice with colleagues and partners.
- Discover new guidance and a practical checklist on recompensing charities and social enterprises for involvement in research—developed by Wessex Health Partners, NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight and Help & Care—and take away clear steps to support fair, meaningful partnership working.
- Sign up to a new Community of Practice for Community Involvement.
If you would like to share any good practice, case studies or resources prior to the event, please complete the question on the booking form.
The venue is on the ground floor with no steps. Parking is free, but you will need to enter your registration on the tablets near the coffee machines (we will remind you of this on the day!). Tea, coffee and pastries will be provided.
