Molly is a very special girl who absolutely loves meeting people.

She’s nearing the end of her journey, and we want to give her a day filled with the things that make her happiest — new faces, gentle fusses, and lots of love.

So we’re hosting a relaxed, open “drop-in” picnic where anyone is welcome to come by, say hello, and spend a little moment with her.

This is a soft, joyful, community moment. A chance to celebrate a very loved dog and help make her day as special as possible.

We are a queer family, and we especially welcome our LGBTQ+, trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse community to come share this moment with us 💛

🌼 What to expect:

• A laid-back, come-and-go gathering
• Bring your own picnic blanket/snacks
• No need to stay long, even a quick fuss means the world to her.
• A chance to give Molly a fuss, a cuddle, or just a smile

🐾 About Molly:
She’s a people dog through and through! She’ll likely come over to say hi, lean into you, and soak up all the attention.

This event is really about Molly and her love of people.

Friendly and calm dogs are welcome, but we do have one small request — Molly’s sister, Lola, is very fearful of German Shepherds (we’re not sure why!).

Because of that, we kindly ask that German Shepherds don’t attend this particular gathering, just to help keep her feeling safe and relaxed.

📍 Location: Bute Park (Orchard Lawn, near the Secret Garden Café)

🕐 Time: Drop in anytime between 1–4pm

Bute Park is generally flat and accessible, with paved paths throughout and accessible toilets available at the Visitor Centre nearby.

We’ll be on the Orchard Lawn (grass), so ground conditions may vary depending on weather.
