Its the season to get fit, so to raise some money for Meow & Furever Cat Rescue (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552250667139) I am organizing a 5km fun run round Colwick Park, Nottingham.
This is a wonderfully flat course, perfect for anyone attempting their first 5km or for anyone who wants to push for a PB. You also get the thrill of a lake and some geese to stare at too. A perfect run!
If this is your first run then you have a perfect amount of time to start the Couch to 5km training now and be ready to join us on the day. You can also jog, walk or sprint round the course, all are welcome and will be equally as supported on the day!
The cost for this run will be £15. For this you will get a custom medal (pictures to follow very soon) at the finish line and you will live safe in the knowledge that over £10 of your fee will go directly to the charity.
Meow & Furever are a wonderful local rescue who work tirelessly to rescue the cats of Nottingham. Leading a team of volunteer foster carers, they are forever scooping up the homeless, injured or sometimes just those in need of a new home. This is a costly endeavour which we hope to be able to help with!
