About this Event

This hands-on workshop explores how color shapes emotion, perception, and space, blending fine art and interior design through the lens of color psychology. Participants will experiment with warm and cool tones, contrast, and saturation through painting, collage, and sculpture, uncovering how color influences mood, memory, and the way we experience space. No prior art experience needed, just curiosity about why color makes us feel the way it does!

Cheryse Damon is an interior architect and educator with over a decade of experience shaping spaces and teaching design. After earning a degree in Interior Design at NJIT, she spent eight years working as an interior architect, bringing projects to life across corporate offices, high-end residential properties, and dispensaries throughout NJ/NY. She went on to teach architecture and design at the high school level for two years, discovering a passion for guiding others through the creative process. Today, she channels that experience into community art and design education through Damon Design Studio, LLC (Honey & Sage Curations), offering workshops for all ages that blend design principles, color theory, and hands-on creativity.
