WHAT:
Join Lisa Murphy for an in-depth exploration of paper and an internal hunt for colors, patterns, and natural textures. Spread your story over a canvas of your choosing. Collage is an opportunity to go down memory lane, so all are invited to bring memorabilia or nostalgic tokens to add to their art pieces. We choose pieces and parts relating to our lives, and from there the art takes on a journey.
This class is for all ages and includes all necessary supplies.
HOSTS BIO
Lisa Murphy was born in Colorado Springs as a gifted and talented student with an affinity for teaching. After graduating from Sarah Lawrence with a teaching and liberal arts degree, Lisa traveled the world as a photographer for New Pants Publishing Magazine. She has been a studio artist for 7 years at Cottonwood Center for the Arts, and is presently a teacher and artist at the MAC in Manitou. She specializes in teaching sculpture and art technique to all ages.
