Hailing from Boones Mill, Virginia, Colby’s music is deeply rooted in his family’s heritage and the spirit of the Blue Ridge Mountains. His debut album, Tales of Misfortune (released January 2024), reflects life, loss, and resilience with powerful tracks like “Higher Ground”, “Mountain Brandy”, and “Daddy’s Pocket Knife”.
Inspired by bluegrass musicians at a young age, Colby taught himself guitar, banjo, and mandolin and has been captivating audiences ever since. Following this performance, Colby will embark on his “Tales From Virginia” UK Tour, making this an incredible opportunity to see him live locally before he takes his music abroad.
