Please join us at DOCR’s HQ in Ferndale for an insightful discussion about coffee in the Dominican Republic, followed by a coffee tasting! This class is hosted by Store Manager & Certified Educator, Dani Fernandez!
Dani has a special interest in coffee from this origin from her in-laws being Dominican! She has completed her coffee education and gained coffee certification at DOCR, and you won't want to miss out on this class, which is her final presentation.

Follow along as we talk about growing regions, sustainability for coffee growers, and the rise in specialty coffee for the Dominican Republic! You’ll get an inside look at why we don’t see much coffee coming from the area, and recap an interview with a coffee farmer from the Dominican Republic.
Please feel free to bring a notepad & pen for any information you’ll want to keep track of later. We will close this class with a small cupping of a coffee sourced from the Dominican Republic specially for this class, and get a chance to learn about coffee tasting & cupping procedures.
