Climate Cafe Facilitator Training

Join Nancy Blair (MEd, CCC, RCT) and David Paterson for a relaxed training on how to facilitate a community climate cafe.

A climate café is a brave, supportive, and confidential space for participants to share our responses to the climate crisis. Climate cafés focus on feelings; no feeling is too difficult or taboo to discuss. At this facilitator training, learn how to lead these types of climate conversations, including how to manage group dynamics, support participants in identifying emotions, and redirecting conversations when necessary.

Event Details

Who: Anyone who has attended at least one climate cafe previously and is interested in facilitating them in the future.

When: Tuesday October 22nd, 7:00pm-8:30pm AST

Where: Christ Church (basement), 50 Wentworth Street, Dartmouth, B2Y2T2.

What to Bring: A notebook and something to write with.
