About this Event

Cities Forum 2026: Partnering For Prosperity

UK cities are striving to unlock new levels of economic, social, and environmental prosperity. This ambition is especially vital in the urban places represented by Key Cities, which carry the same expectations as major metropolitan centres, while operating with tighter budgets, smaller workforces, and more acute capacity constraints. Yet, they remain powerful engines of regional opportunity, cultural vibrancy, and innovation. For this reason, this year’s theme is ‘partnering for prosperity’. The event will feature sessions on housing, next-generation infrastructure, place and cultural identity, and climate resilience.

The event will take place at Bath’s Guildhall on Thursday 11 June from 10:00-15:00 with optional tours of Milsom Quarter or Bath Central Riverside regeneration.
