Love rubbery monsters? Well look no further than the king of the 80s rubbery monster boom, GHOULIES! Thanks to the success of GREMLINS and then the tireless FX work of John Carl Buechler we got countless little creature movies and GHOULIES is certainly a bench mark in the genre. Plus the marketing of this film and its striking image of the Ghoulie coming out of a toilet were so omni-present in the video store era, just the poster art alone traumatized a whole generation of kids and pushed back their ability to potty train.
Special introduction for this screening will be done with Sam from Weird Punk Books, one of the biggest Ghoulies fans out there!
