CIBSE NW: Glass Fusing Workshop
About this Event
This hands-on session invites you to submerge yourself in the world of glass fusing, where Chan will guide us through the process of layering Bullseye opal and transparent glass using stringers, frit and copper to create beautiful summer sun catchers. No experience is needed at all.
Chan will begin with a full demonstration, including how to safely break and assemble your glass pieces, so whether you prefer working in an abstract or more literal style, there will be plenty of scope to create something uniquely your own.
Once your main piece is complete, you will also have the chance to make a small keepsake glass piece.
These wellbeing events are a great opportunity to step away from the day job, try something different and connect with others across the building services community in a relaxed setting.
Event will be held at BDP's offices in Manchester (11 Ducie Street, Manchester, M1 2JB) and the workshop will star at 6pm.
