Chetham's Library Visit – The Hay Portfolio
About this Event
The Hay Portfolio is an impressive collection of printed ephemera documenting radicalism in 19th century Manchester. W. R. Hay was a magistrate at the time of Peterloo, and the sole reason for this collection’s preservation was to monitor and prosecute radicals.
Join us on a group visit to the Hay Portfolio followed by a reflective writing hour at Manchester Cathedral.
Meet Outside Chetham’s Library Gate Long Millgate, Manchester M3 1SB (Poet's Corner!)
Maximum capacity for group visits is 20 so if you cannot come please refund your ticket for another to use.
