Chronology

With the upcoming roll out of Mosaic, there will be changes to the Chronology template used across Social Policy. In light of this we have scheduled training in order to introduce the template as well as training in regards to the effective use of chronology in practice.

This sessions is for West Lothian Social Policy Staff who are involved in maintaining, analysing and reviewing the chronology.

Learning Objectives:

• Explain the need for, and circumstance in which, chronology should be used
• Increase knowledge and confidence of how to create and maintain a chronology
• Increase knowledge and confidence in analysing chronology and use of this in practice to identify patterns and risks from the past to improve the present and plan for the future for children, young people and adults.

This session will be interactive, involving practitioners engaging in case study exercises. In additon, an internet enabled mobile phone/device may be helpful in engaging in interactive activities when attending in person sessions.

Refreshments will not be provided during the session. There are nearby facilities for you to purchase teas/coffees and lunch where required.
