Chocolate + Charcuterie Workshop

Instructors: Tammy's Boards & Bites + Healthy Eats

I am so excited to welcome Tammy Lloyd, owner of Tammy’s Boards & Bites! Tammy owns a Yakima Valley–based charcuterie and grazing table business known for creating beautiful, elevated food experiences for weddings, wineries, corporate events, and private parties.

In this class, Tammy will be showing you all about crafting your own charcuterie boads and Elaina will be demonstrating some simple techniques to making homemade chocolates. This is a hands-on class where participants will be making and taking home their creations. Recipes included.

What you will learn in this workshop:

Tammy will be teaching you how to build a charcuterie board for two, including:

• How to choose the right cheeses and meats

• Simple techniques for styling salami and charcuterie

• Creative ways to cut and present cheese

• How to add fruits, crackers, and extras for color and balance

• Tips for arranging your board so it looks full, professional, and party-ready

By the end of class, everyone will leave with their own completed charcuterie board and the skills to recreate it at home for gatherings, holidays, or special occasions.

Elaina will be teaching you:

• How to temper and choose chocolate for tempering
• How to make filled and bar chocolates
• Low sugar options for healthier chocolates
• Decorating and easy at home flavor combos

Chocolate Menu:

This class does have items with dairy, gluten can be avoided. Children over 6 are welcome to attend with an adult signed up. They will need their own ticket. Only 22 spots available.

Tammy started Tammy’s Boards & Bites after becoming an empty nester and wanting to create something that combined her love for event planning, creativity, and bringing people together. What began as a charcuterie cart has grown into a full service grazing and charcuterie business, offering boards, grazing tables, specialty carts, and hands-on classes like the one you’re attending tonight.

Tammy loves teaching people that charcuterie doesn’t have to be complicated — with the right techniques, anyone can create a board that looks beautiful, tastes amazing, and feels special.
