Hello fellow vegans of the Portland area! :) Finding and experiencing a sense of community is so vital right now, not just for ourselves but for veganism as a movement. That's why my friend Nick and I are partnering with the Animal Rights Collective to host a casual, fun get-together. The goal is to have a space for people who care about animals to meet each other and share in some fun games. We'll have some snacks and refreshments, spend the first half-ish hour on a little unstructured social time to get acquainted, and then slide into some games for 45 minutes to 1 hour or so.
This will be on Sunday, March 15th from 2-3:30pm at the Kailash Ecovillage in SE Portland in their community room. (Please do not park in their parking lot, but there is ample street parking.)
And if you're more on the shy side or a bit of an introvert (like I am), you're more than welcome to come hang out and not jump into the games right away. 0 pressure. These will be light games to get to know each other better, and you won't need any experience or devices or anything to participate. Just bring yourselves, a friend if you want (the more the merrier!), and (if you want to) a project to work on during the unstructured time (totally optional!).
