Class Structure:
Date and Duration: A single-day intensive class, spanning 9 hours. With breaks and movement throughout class.
Topics Covered: Explore a comprehensive range of topics, including anatomy and physiology, nutrition, exercise techniques for comfort and optimal positioning, relaxation techniques, medical interventions, pain management, the physiology of labor and birth, family-centered cesarean, newborn care, postpartum recovery, and an opportunity to address your specific questions and concerns.
Ideal Participants: Beneficial for pregnant individuals planning a hospital birth, home birth, or birth center birth. This class is ideal for those between 25-35 weeks, though it can be taken at any stage of pregnancy. While a partner or support person is encouraged, it is not mandatory.
Class Size: To ensure an intimate and interactive learning experience, there will be a minimum of two registrants required for the class to take place, with a maximum of six families per session.
