Cherry Point Artists Group Annual Fine Art Show

Cherry Point Artists will be celebrating another year of painting and friendship at their annual fine art show at St. Peter’s Church Hall in North Cowichan. Over 100 new works of art will be on display; a vivid demonstration of the diversity of medium in which Cherry Point Artists work - watercolour, oils, acrylics, gouache, pastels, pen & ink, graphite and coloured pencils. The work features landscapes, seascapes, still-life, flora and fauna, all inspired by the natural beauty of the Cowichan Valley and Vancouver Island. Club members also donate small paintings to the Art Show. These popular items fly off the shelf and are part of the group’s fundraising efforts.

Membership to this welcoming art group is open to all levels, from beginner to more accomplished. Members meet every Thursday morning from September to June of each year to paint, share knowledge and hold educational events.
