THE SECRET AGENT
Original title: O Agente Secreto
Running Time: 2hr 41m / Year: 2025/ 14A
Production: Brazil (in Brazilian Portuguese with English subtitles)
Directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho
One of the most decorated films of 2025!
"Set in 1977 Brazil, roughly at the midpoint of a 21-year military dictatorship, “The Secret Agent” is a drama, a satire, an intriguingly laid-back espionage film, and a recreation of a time and place, with expressionistic and surreal flourishes that must be accepted on their own terms.
If you’re willing to bend with the story, “The Secret Agent” will take you places movies rarely go."
