Changing Roles in Familes

Often when addiction is present, the roles of family members may get confused or blurred. It is important to know how to maintain your role and identify potential traps for family members to avoid. Identifying the typical roles family members adopt in families dealing with substance use disorders is an important part of the family’s recovery process.

This workshop will provide a general overview of the changes in roles in a family impacted by substance use disorders and provide basic strategies to support recovery.
