KUNDALINI YOGA & BREATH + NUTRITION & NEUROSCIENCE
This is a half-day workshop where you will learn tools to change how you feel:
* Quieten anxious thought loops
* Shift low mood and dull energy
* Reduce cravings and ease discomfort
* Build concentration and clarity
* Increase capacity to be with difficult situations and feelings
-------
Who is this workshop for?
It’s for anyone who feels trapped in cycles of self-damaging behaviours and anxious thought loops, and who wants to break free from harmful habits and build emotional and physical resilience.
Self-damaging behaviours might include drinking too much, binge-eating, overdoing sugar, smoking/vaping, doom-scrolling, online shopping / dating / gaming, over-exercise, obsessions around health and longevity and many more. Often we turn to these behaviours to avoid being present - we humans are exceptionally creative when it comes to finding ways to avoid our feelings!
-------
Workshop outline
10.00 - 10.30 - Welcome & introduction
10.30 - 11.45 - Kundalini Global yoga & breath session
11.45 - 12.00 - Break (light refreshments will be offered)
12.00 - 13.00 - Tools for anxious and addictive minds - a group discussion around what drives anxious and self-damaging behaviours (environment, trauma, stress, genetics, hormones, nutritional deficiencies and insufficiencies, poor sleep…) and how nutrition, movement and breath can be part of our recovery toolbox to support mental and physical wellbeing.
