A power-packed program designed to empower us to collaborate to create change in our community. Together, we can shape the future of women's leadership and create transformative experiences for San Antonio generations to come!
The event theme is “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations" supporting National Women's History Alliance's call to celebrate the influence of women who have dedicated their lives to education, mentorship, and leadership.
We'll also acknowledge International Women's Day's theme of "Accelerate Action" - Raising awareness about discrimination and taking action to forge gender parity.
Dedicated to facilitating open dialogue and collaborative brainstorming: “Can We Talk” will dive into thought-provoking discussions about how four extraordinary women in the early 1900's achieved remarkable accomplishments in contributing to our community.
We'll look back at what made them so successful - provoking us to be inspired for goals in the future.
We will be guided by an expert panel - who will share the stories of four San Antonio leaders in the early 1900's. Our panel will then navigate us in exploring how these women's accomplishments can help inspire us tonight on how we can collaborate to create change, enhance our self-fulfillment, and contribute to our community.

Can We Talk is a coalition of over sixty women's organizations in San Antonio, Texas. Can We Talk events are scheduled each year in March, to commemorate Women's History Month, and on or near August 26, to commemorate Women's Equality Day and Texas Women's Independence Day. Can We Talk events are coordinated by a steering committee composed of representatives from member organizations.
