The Mexican American Civil Rights Institute (MACRI) and MonteVideo celebrate Women’s History Month with Latina Spring, a curated selection of inspiring films by Latina and Indigenous women directors! Presented in partnership with UNAM, these special screenings spotlight Texas filmmakers Jackie Barragan and Robie Flores, and Mexican filmmakers Ángeles Cruz and Samantha Ramirez.

Join us on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at UNAM San Antonio, 600 Hemisfair Plaza Way, for THE IN BETWEEN!
TIME: Doors open at 6:30 PM; Film begins at 7:00 PM
COST: FREE!

About Robie Flores: Robie Flores is a filmmaker and video editor drawn to telling stories that explore the nuances of her fronterizo and Mexican American communities. Her project, The In Between, is a feature film about growing up on the U.S./Mexico border, which has received support from the Ford Foundation, Field of Vision, and ITVS, among others.
