CECAS will be running a day of early Autumn activities for all the family on Saturday the 27th of September from 12pm-6pm. Entry is only €5 per person. Feel free to bring as many kids as you can - they go for free!All Day:
Apple Identification & Pressing - Bring your apples from home and have them identified by our apple experts. Try heirloom varieties that you’ve never seen or tasted before! Bring your own bottles and take home some local, fresh, organic apple juice made using the Clonakilty Community Apple Press. You can even have a go at operating it yourself.
🌿 Kids Activities - We will have a kids activity area with fun seasonal & educational activities for all ages.

🌿 1pm: The Fite Fuaite of Flax with Kathy Kirwan (@kathykirwan_theartofnature)
🌿 2pm: Kraut & About: Learn how to make sauerkraut & chat about fermented foods with Chloe Dempsey (@fermentforagegrow)
🌿 3pm: Heritage & Biodiversity Walk with Mark Robins and Conor O'Buachalla (@gormu.ar)
🌿 4pm: Growing Native Trees from Seed with Hazel Hurley (@treespleasecork)
🌿 5pm: Foraged Ink Making with Samuel Keane (@samyelyel)

Throughout the day you can also enjoy tea, coffee, cakes and snacks at our pop-up cafe, walk in the grounds or visit our on-site shops.
