This semester, the Photography Club KU Leuven once again offers its photography courses in English. We provide Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced courses, each designed to help photographers grow both technically and creatively.
All groups are kept intentionally small and are taught by multiple instructors, allowing participants to experience different photographic styles, approaches, and artistic perspectives. Through a combination of indoor and outdoor classes and workshops, you will explore a wide range of genres and techniques while actively applying what you learn.
Advanced Group
📅 Tuesdays, 18:00 – 19:30
This advanced series consists of 10 classes and several workshops and is aimed at photographers who already have a solid technical foundation and wish to deepen their understanding of photography as both a craft and an art form.
Topics include:
Advanced light metering
The philosophy of photography
Studio photography
Outdoor and location shoots
Color photography
Landscape photography
Tilt-shift photography
Macro photography
Photography as contemporary art
Visual language and photographic aesthetics
Practical Information
Enrollment fee: €30 (students) / €50 (non-students)
