Get ready, Castro Valley! Our annual Light Parade & Festival is BACK, and we're kicking off the fun at 3 PM!
Bring your family and friends and spend the afternoon shopping, eating, and celebrating the holiday season right here in downtown Castro Valley!
🎉 THE FESTIVAL STARTS AT 3 PM!
Come early and enjoy:
🛍️ 50+ Local Vendors featuring unique gifts, handmade items, arts, crafts, and holiday shopping!
🌮 13 Food Vendors serving up delicious food and treats! Come hungry and enjoy a variety of food while supporting local businesses.
🎶 Live Music & Entertainment throughout the festival!
🎨 Family-Friendly Activities and holiday fun for all ages!
✨ LIGHT PARADE BEGINS AT DUSK!
At approximately 5:30 PM, Castro Valley Boulevard will light up with 75 illuminated parade entries, including marching bands, local schools, community groups, classic cars, and our famous tap-dancing Christmas trees!
🎅 FREE SANTA PHOTOS!
After the parade, stick around for free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus while the festival continues until 9 PM!

🕒 Festival & Food Vendors: 3 PM – 9 PM
✨ Light Parade: Approximately 5:30 PM or when it gets dark
🎟️ FREE ADMISSION!
🚧 ROAD CLOSURE: Castro Valley Boulevard will be closed between Lake Chabot Road and Redwood Road from 2 PM to 9 PM.
Hosted by the Castro Valley/Eden Area Chamber of Commerce.
Last year, over 20,000 people joined us! Come early, grab some food, shop with our local vendors, and stay for the lights!
