Capital Region Living Health & Wellness Issue Release Party

You may have noticed that Capital Region Living, upstate NY's favorite local mag for the last 23 years, had a glow-up in 2025. Now, we're ready to celebrate like it's 2026 (cuz it is) at an issue release party for our first-ever HEALTH & WELLNESS issue!

Join CRL, Best Fitness, and Frog Alley Brewing for an evening of good company, healing vibes, and the chance to check out the best of the best of the Capital Region's health and wellness offerings.

💪 Warm Up: Barre at the Bar—5pm
Free for paying event attendees, this Barre workout is just what you need to get you in the party zone. Led by local trainer Tommie Burch, the 45-minute workout will burn your booty, strengthen your arms, and get your entire body pumped up.

☝️ First Set: The Party Starts—6pm
Think DJ tunes, complimentary mocktails (and cash bar), and a one-of-one photo op in Good Karma Studio's aerial lyra hoop. Photos will be published in the spring issue of CRL!

💦 Water Break: Top 10 Trainers—7pm
We'll pause the party—only for a few minutes!—to recognize the Top 10 Trainers of the 518, who are featured in the Health & Wellness Issue. (Stay tuned to see the list.) The short program will be hosted by Benita Zahn, beloved local news anchor turned powerhouse health coach.

✌️Second Set: Back to Work—7:30pm
Explore offerings from your favorite 518 health and wellness businesses, including amenities from Ballston Spa's new Performance Sanctuary, and more local businesses. Food available for purchase from Lily P's, located right on site.

🧘‍♀️ Cool Down: Before You Go—8:30pm
Stick around to see if you won one of our amazing door prizes (including from Spa Mirbeau, Complexions Spa for Beauty and Wellness, Lucie Capek Plastic Surgery, and Clear Skin & Laser), and be sure to grab a copy of Capital Region Living's Health & Wellness issue on your way out!
