The Cannibal Ramblers a Providence-based, blues band featuring guitarist/vocalist Mark Milloff. Known for a gritty, "swamp-stomp" sound, they blend old-fashioned blues with visceral, often humorous, and narrative-driven lyrics. They are characterized by high-energy, improvised performances.SWRM is a Providence, RI-based psych/synth-rock duo formed in 2023 by scene veterans Alec K. Redfearn (synths/vocals) and Matt McLaren (drums). Known for a dystopian, analog-driven sound merging psych, prog, and minimal wave, they use hands-on, clockless electronics and unconventional percussion to create experimental, high-energy music.
Gal Fieri is a new Bushwick band already making a strong impression. Just a few months in, they’ve been playing regularly around the neighborhood and quickly becoming a local favorite. Their sound mixes quiet-to-loud dynamics, heavy bass riffs (no guitar), and snarky lyrics, all driven by soulful vocals. Even with shorter sets, their songs pack a punch and leave you wanting more.
Water Ghost is the project of guitarist and songwriter Chuck Roth, where intricate guitar work meets raw, immediate songcraft. Blurring the line between experimental composition and intimate singer-songwriter confession, Water Ghost builds songs that are as texturally adventurous as they are emotionally direct. Praised for the depth and urgency of Watergh0st Songs and released on Palilalia Records—the imprint of avant-guitar icon Bill Orcutt—Water Ghost exists at the fertile intersection of exploration and melody.
