75 min Candlelight Restorative Yoga + Reiki - this deeply nourishing and rejuvenating experience is designed to support your body’s natural healing processes through physical and mental stillness, breathwork and energetic balancing. Everyone is welcome - all levels, including beginners. Surrounded by soft candlelight, you will be guided through a creatively crafted series of gentle Restorative Yoga postures that encourage deep muscular release and nervous system restoration. While you rest, Glenda will offer hands-on (or hands-off) Reiki energy work to help clear energetic blockages in your body, reduce stress, and support emotional balance. Expect a soothing atmosphere with calming music, grounding meditations, and Reiki energy work that invites you to slow down and reconnect with your inner self. You’ll leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and deeply connected to your body.
This class is accessible for all levels and ideal for anyone in need of a mindful reset. No prior yoga or Reiki experience is necessary. This practice offers a safe, nurturing environment to rest, restore, and realign.
Restorative Yoga practice involves holding yoga postures for longer periods while being completely supported by props such as blankets, bolsters and blocks, so you can release all muscular effort and relax. This is the ultimate stress relief experience. While in poses, you remain awake and aware of your breath and sensations within the body. Through the experience of stillness within the pose, you experience shifts in your emotional and mental well-being.
Reiki Energy Work is a Japanese healing modality that channels your energy pathways to activate the body’s natural healing processes. This hands-on (or hands-off) energy healing technique promotes deep relaxation, stress relief, and energetic balance. While receiving Reiki, you may experience warmth, tingling, or a deep sense of peace. It’s a calming, restorative experience for mind, body, and spirit.
Please wear comfortable, relaxed clothing and bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and any props needed for comfort (available @TW).
