Join local historian, author, and former narrowboat resident, Mark Davies, as he outlines the canalside people, industries, and buildings that have contributed to the rich fabric of the history of Jericho and the Oxford Canal.

Jericho is Oxford's oldest planned suburb, and the Oxford Canal, originally designed to bring coal from Warwickshire to London via the Thames, played an important role in the industrialisation of Jericho and the development of the city. Join Mark as he delves into the lives of the people of Jericho, the boaters of the canal, and their mutual importance.
