Campbelltown Carers Hub: What is this new Medicare Mental Health Centre

"Medicare Mental Health is a free, no-wrong-door service supporting people to access the mental health care that best suits their needs. We provide short-term support (typically 3–6 months, based on individual goals) through a multidisciplinary team including care coordinators, clinicians, and peer workers, with partner services such as Odyssey House and Relationships Australia available onsite. We assist individuals and carers with navigating the mental health system, linking with appropriate services, and providing practical, person-centered support along the way."

This session will provide an overview of what Medicare Mental Health offers, who it is suitable for, and how carers can connect the people they support with the service.
