Located in the heart of Raleigh, NC, the Poe Center’s fully-immersive summer camp is where health is “the heart” of the experience. At Camp PlayWELL, kids don’t just hear about healthy habits, they experience and practice them.

ABOUT THE BODY LAB: This themed week is dedicated to learning about the human body and all of its amazing capabilities. After learning about the various body systems, campers will act as secret agents on a mission to defeat potential health threats by answering health-education questions and making smart health-related decisions.
Other activities include exploring the traffic safety course, playing a life-size “Operation” game, and interacting with the Poe Center’s Cranium Connection.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with extended care options for an additional fee.
Ages: Rising 1st–5th grade (grouped by age)
Location: 224 Sunnybrook Rd. Raleigh, NC 27610
Camp activities will be conducted inside the Poe Center and outside at PlayWELL Park.
Cost: Starting at $350 per camper per week.
