About this Event

Join Algalita at Mother's Beach in Long Beach on Saturday, September 19th to celebrate California Coastal Cleanup Day: a powerful statewide movement that’s been protecting our coastlines for over 40 years.

Event Details

  • Come whenever and stay for as long as you would like!
  • We will have a water station for participants courtesy of LB Utilities.
  • This year, all trash will be dumped at a singular location onsite. The city will be auditing trash picked up at all Long Beach sites for the first time!
  • ALL AGES WELCOME!

What to Bring

  • reusable water bottle
  • sun protection (long sleeves, sunscreen, hat)
  • a friend or family member!
  • Algalita will provide buckets, bags, and gloves. Bring your trash picker if you have one!
